What we hold, and what we never do with it.
The short version: we collect what you tell us, we read it ourselves, we do not sell it, we do not advertise to you, and we do not create a medical record about you.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us. If you complete an intake, that is your name, contact details, country or time zone, what you are trying to get back, what you have written about your situation, how long it has been going on, what care you are currently receiving, and anything else you add.
If you simply read the site, we do not require an account and you are not asked to identify yourself.
What we do with it
- Read it, personally, so that a first conversation can start somewhere real
- Decide with you whether this is an appropriate pathway, including telling you when it is not
- Design and adjust a protocol, if you go forward
- Keep continuity of communication with you throughout participation
What we never do with it
- Sell it, rent it, or share it with data brokers or advertisers
- Use it to target advertising to you anywhere
- File it as a medical record, submit it to an insurer, or attach a diagnostic code to it
- Pass it to anyone outside the leadership team without asking you first
Health information
What you write to us is often deeply personal. Because Sophia Christos is not providing medical diagnosis or treatment, your intake does not become part of a medical record and is not covered by medical-records law in the way a clinic file would be. That cuts both ways, and you should know it: it means no insurer or employer receives it, and it also means the protections are ours to keep rather than a regulator's to enforce. We treat it as confidential regardless.
Who can see it
The leadership team. Where a question needs a physician's judgement it may be discussed with our Chief Medical Officer. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are in conversation or participation with us, and afterwards only so that we can honour continuity if you return. Ask us to delete it and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw from communication at any point, without explaining why
Children
Where a participant is a minor, we work with a parent or guardian, and the intake is completed by them rather than by the child.
This website
The site is plain HTML. It sets no cookies and carries no advertising and no cross-site trackers. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them; if that matters to you, the site remains fully readable with those requests blocked.
We do count visits, using Plausible, a measurement service that stores nothing on your device, builds no profile, and has no way to identify you or follow you to another site. What it records is the page, the country, the site that referred you, the kind of device, and a short list of named moments — a volume opened, a track begun, a paper read, an enquiry sent. It is how we learn which parts of this library are actually being read.
Nothing you type is ever read, including anything entered into the enquiry form; the intake is counted only as having been sent. Nothing on the Memory & Clarity page is counted beyond the fact that the page was opened — what a person reads there is not ours to itemise. And if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted at all.
Emergencies
Nothing here is monitored around the clock. If you are in a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services rather than this site.
